X Men Origins: Wolverine Premiere
Tempe, AZ hosted the world premiere of the new Hugh Jackman film X Men Origins" Wolverine at Harkins Theatres Tempe Marketplace 16 on April 27, 2009. In attendance, Hugh Jackman, will.i.am, Ryan Reynolds, Liev Schreiber, Lynn Collins and Taylor Kitsch. Tempe won an online contest to host the premiere when it received more votes than any other city in the country. All 16 screens at the theatre played the film to more the 3,000+ fans. The largest premiere in history.
